Live Baccarat rules
If you’ve never played Baccarat before allow us to explain the rules to you. There’s not a lot you need to learn and the payoff for doing so is definitely worth it. Similar to Blackjack; live Baccarat is a point scoring game where the person with the most points at the end of the game wins. Face cards are worth 10 in this game. Aces are worth 1, and number cards are worth their own value.
The way to calculate your score in Baccarat is you start by adding up the value of all your cards. You then want to take the final digit of that number to be your final score. An example of this would be getting dealt a 7 and a 6. This would normally make 13 but in Baccarat you take the final digit so the end score is 13! This means that the highest score possible in Baccarat is 9.
You won’t always want to get 9 necessarily though as you won’t always want yourself to win. The reason for this is that in live Baccarat you don’t have to bet on yourself to be the winner. You can bet on either yourself or the dealer to win; or alternatively for the game to end in a draw. All three of these outcomes come with different odds which makes the betting a bit more interesting if nothing else. The reason you’re able to do this is because in live Baccarat the game plays out itself. When you’ve backed your winner you won’t have any further actions to make so can simply watch the action unfold!
How to play live Baccarat
The game begins with both you and the dealer being dealt two face up cards. If either of you have a total score of 8 or 9 at this point the game comes to an end. If not you the player will be forced to take another card. Depending on your new score along with what the dealer currently has they may or may not take another card. There is a chart that will tell you exactly when they should and shouldn’t. You don’t need to worry too much about that.

Once this step has been passed the game will come to an end with the highest score being declared the winner; unless of course the scores are equal in which case a draw is declared.
The easy part about live Baccarat is actually the playing. When you load up the live stream of the table you’ve chosen you’ll be met with the dealer; the table, and a stack of virtual chips. To make a bet you click once on the chip you’d like to bet with; then once again on the betting box you’d like to place it in.
After this there’s nothing left to do except watch the action unfold before your eyes. Or perhaps have a chat with the dealer if it takes your fancy!
